During the “Project Censored” interview, she spoke about “the #MeToo campaign and how corporate media portrays issues of sexual harassment and violence, within and beyond the entertainment industry,” according to the PSN website.

In Lisbon, she presented her paper, “Feminist Approaches to Media Literacy for Lifelong Civic Engagement: Analyzing the U.S. Sexual Harassment Scandals of Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, and Harvey Weinstein and #Hashtivism Campaigns.”
