Hemant Pendharkar (Computer Science) has been appointed as a senior summer faculty fellow at the Office of Naval Research.
Senior summer faculty fellows for the ONR must have at least six years of research experience in his/her field of expertise after earning a Ph.D. and hold the position of tenured associate professor or higher at a U.S. Department of Education accredited institution. The applicant must also have published a minimum of one paper per year since their Ph.D. in a peer-reviewed journal.
Pendharkar is continuing his research collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense, and had two papers published last year that he co-authored with colleagues at SPAWAR (Space and Naval Warfare) System Center Atlantic.
